Our Commitment

SlotmaskineFest is committed to accuracy. When errors occur in published content, we correct them promptly and transparently. We do not remove corrections silently; all corrections to substantive factual content are disclosed.

How to Request a Correction

If you believe a published article contains a factual error, please contact us through our Contact page and select "Corrections" as the subject. Please include:

  • The URL of the article in question
  • The specific statement you believe is incorrect
  • What you believe the correct information to be
  • Any supporting evidence or sources you can provide

How Corrections Are Processed

We review all correction requests. Our process:

  1. We acknowledge receipt of your correction request within 5 business days
  2. We investigate the claimed error against our original sources and any new information provided
  3. If we determine an error occurred, we update the article and add a correction note at the bottom of the article specifying what was corrected and when
  4. We contact the requester to confirm the correction has been made
  5. If we determine no error occurred, we will explain our reasoning to the requester

Types of Corrections

We distinguish between different types of updates to published content:

  • Corrections: Changes to factual errors. Disclosed with a correction note.
  • Updates: New information added to reflect developments after publication. Disclosed with an update note and date.
  • Clarifications: Additions to clarify ambiguous language. Disclosed with a clarification note where material.
  • Typographical fixes: Minor spelling, grammar, or formatting corrections that do not affect meaning. Not separately disclosed.
