Editorial Policy

Purpose

This Editorial Policy describes the standards and processes that govern the production of content published on SlotmaskineFest. It applies to all editorial staff, contributors, and freelancers who produce content for this publication.

Accuracy and Fact-Checking

All factual claims published on SlotmaskineFest must be verifiable through named sources, official documents, or established public record. We follow these standards:

  • Financial figures are framed as "reported figures" and attributed to the specific source (company filings, regulator reports, etc.) rather than stated as independently verified facts
  • Regulatory positions and legal interpretations are attributed to the relevant authority and distinguished from our editorial analysis
  • We do not publish unverified claims about individuals or organizations
  • When information is disputed, we present multiple perspectives and note the dispute

Sourcing

We prefer on-the-record sources and official documents. When anonymous sourcing is used for information we believe to be in the public interest and verifiable through other means, we will disclose the nature of the source relationship (e.g., "a person familiar with the matter") without identifying the source.

We do not quote anonymous sources for negative characterizations of named individuals without giving those individuals an opportunity to respond.

Sponsored Content and Commercial Arrangements

SlotmaskineFest does not currently operate any sponsored content or commercial partnership arrangements. If such arrangements are ever established:

  • All commercially supported content will be clearly and prominently labeled as "Sponsored Content," "Paid Partnership," or equivalent language
  • Sponsored content will be visually distinct from editorial content
  • Sponsors will have no editorial control over content, including sponsored articles
  • We will not publish sponsored content that conflicts with our editorial independence or violates applicable advertising standards

We do not participate in affiliate marketing programs. We do not receive referral fees or commissions for directing readers to gambling operators or any other commercial services.

Conflicts of Interest

Editorial staff and contributors are required to disclose any personal financial interests, employment relationships, or other connections that could be perceived as influencing their coverage. Disclosed conflicts are reviewed by the editorial lead; if the conflict is material, the contributor will not produce content on the affected subject.

Linking Policy

External links in editorial content are included to provide readers with access to original sources. We do not link to gambling operators, betting platforms, or any site from which we receive or could receive commercial benefit. Links to official government and regulatory websites are provided as citation support.
